No. Sorry, we require a major credit card to guarantee your room reservation. Please review the terms and cancellation policy before making your reservation.

As soon as you have completed the booking process, a confirmation page will appear in your browser session. This page shows all of your reservation details, including the booking number and your PIN code, so you can access your confirmation online. We will also send you a confirmation email with all of your booking information.
 

During the booking process, you can enter any special requests into the "Special Requests" box on the "Your Details" page. Once you have received your booking confirmation, you can follow up with the hotel directly to confirm that your request can be met.  You can find the hotel’s contact details on the Contact Us page of our website.

Simply follow the instructions to modify or cancel your reservation found in your Reservation Confirmation Email.  Alternately, you can find the link to Cancel or Modify Your Reservation in the footer of the hotel’s website.  Please note, your reservation is not canceled until and unless you receive an email confirmation for the cancellation.

Yes. However, our hotel will only recognize a credit card on which the authorized payee’s name is clearly present and visible, copy of the payee’s identification and a credit card authorization form is completed and faxed back to our property.  You can contact us for the Credit Card Authorization Form and for further instructions if your reservation will have a third party payee.
 

We consider a group to be a reservation of 6 rooms or more. For any group reservations, we request that you contact us directly or use the form that is spawned when you select 6+ rooms in the Check Availability function above.

Our rates are based on double occupancy, and the maximum occupancy in most rooms is 3 people. You are welcome to bring an additional guest for an extra $35 per night charge, regardless of age. Please also know we cannot guarantee rollaway requests due to limited availability. If you should need a rollaway, please let us know at the time of booking.
 

We love our pets, but due to our proximity to the marine sanctuary, we are unable to allow guests to bring pets to stay. We will be happy to refer you to a local kennel if needed. ADA defined Service animals are permitted free of charge.
 

Seal Cove Inn is proud to be a smoke-free Half Moon Bay hotel. Smokers are kindly asked to step outside to the other side of the parking lot to smoke. Please do not smoke in any of the guest rooms, on the patios or balconies. If smoking occurs, there will be a $500 cleaning fee per night added to your folio. Please know we strictly enforce this policy.

For security reasons, you’ll be asked to present valid picture identification along with your credit card during check-in.

Should you need to check-out earlier than your scheduled departure date, we understand but will need to charge you for the full cost of your stay.
 

If you plan on checking in after 8 pm, please call the front desk as soon as you know you’ll be late so that we can make special arrival arrangements for you.

Please plan on checking out of your guest room by 12 noon so that we may put the same level of care into preparing for the next guest.

If you arrive earlier in the day and are unsure of what to do while we’re preparing your room, we’re always happy to store your luggage and recommend activities around town.
 

When you make a reservation with us, we’re ready to greet you at the front door personally. If you provide us with the names of everyone in your party, they will each be personally mentioned on the welcome card waiting for you in your room. You are welcome to check-in between 3 and 8 PM. We put a great deal of care into getting ready for your arrival and because of this we, unfortunately, cannot guarantee arrivals earlier than 3 PM.

With our compliments, you will enjoy our Be Replenished breakfast available from 8:30 am to 10 am, an evening wine reception with a glass of locally sourced wine and our custom rosemary nut mix from 5 to 6 PM, freshly-baked cookies in the afternoon, sodas/bottled water, HBO movies, high-speed wireless Internet service, bicycles to borrow and on-site parking.
